Originally named Young Insurance, the first office was opened next to Gene's brother's barber shop, just east of the square in downtown Neosho. The business grew quickly. Soon, Gene and Mitsie became full-time insurance agents. They moved into an office complex on the Neosho Boulevard, the current location, and the business became known as The Insurance Store.
Now owned and operated by their son, Mark Young, The Insurance Store remains fully committed to serving the community of Neosho, and the surrounding southwest Missouri area. Our insurance professionals have deep roots in the area, and value the trusted relationships established with our clients.
